About Us

We are a family-friendly club based in Lewes.
​We have been running sessions for juniors and seniors on Sunday evenings since 1990. We train players to a competitive level and grade them two or three times a year.  We are a non profit-making organisation run by volunteers.

We are a BJA Club. 

Our History
Lewes Bridgeview Judo Club (LBJC) was founded in 1990 by Dave Fielding.
Dave continues to coach at the club and has rarely missed a session.
Over the years LBJC has coached many top class judoka, including Sophie Johnstone.
